| | Rodolfo Biagi was the pianist in D'Arienzo's orchestra in 1935, where he created the immensely influential "electric" rhythm that brought back the dancers and ushered in the Golden Age of Tango. His own orchestra, founded in 1938, refined and purified the rhythm even further, creating a distinctive style which is more rhythmic and less melodic than any other orchestra of the period.
