Pedro Laurenz must be one of the finest bandoneonistas of all time. He was Julio De Caro's first bandoneón from 1926 to 1934, throughout the great period of innovation and creativity, and wrote some fantastic tangos. He then started his own orchestra. His style is punchy and powerful.

Milonga de mis Amores
These recordings from 1937 to 1944 show Laurenz's own orchestra at its best, and the title track is one of the loveliest milongas ever written. Vocals are by Juan Carlos Casas (10), Alberto Podestá (5) and Jorge Linares (2).
